The 4th Project Partners Meeting of the BalkanRoad project took place in Sofia on the 18th of November, 2019 at the conference hall of Downtown Hotel.
The meeting started with Mr. Plamen Dragnev, Chairman of AAEF who gave a short introductory speech welcoming all the members of the consortium and introduced the agenda and daily activities of the event.
The project coordinator, Dr. Maria Doula, presented the overall progress of the project, the achieved results and pending activities. She presented an overall picture of the project activities, an updated timetable and a general overview of all deliverables under WPs 4, 5 and 6. She reminded to PPs that stakeholders should be involved, especially on the decision of sustainable practices and measures to be applied during cultivation and processing. Mrs. Doula explained that the Roadmap will give information how the Road tool will be implemented.
Project progress was reported by each PP. Finally Mr. Stamatis Kavasilis from BPI informed about the OpenEARTH conference 2020 (the 3-day symposium), which will be held between 12th and 14th February in Thessaloniki.
